Photographs of
COAL MINE CANYON, ARIZONA
Even more amazing than what you can find at Coal Mine Canyon is what you cannot find.
No visitor center. No paved roads. This place is just out there.

If it weren't on the Navajo Reservation I suspect Coal Mine Canyon would be either a
National Park (Arizona's answer to Bryce Canyon) or covered with upscale homes.

Photographs of Coal Mine Canyon in Northern Arizona.
The greatest thing about this canyon is that it has no visitor
center or facilities, and the place is not promoted at all,
so very few people go there. It's just out there.
