Sycamore Creek in the Mazatzal Mts., Arizona
There are many Sycamore Creeks in Arizona. This one begins high in
the Mazatzal Mts. then flows south and west, eventually feeding into the
Verde River in the low, saguaro-covered Sonoran Desert. Sycamore
Creek
is beautiful year-round but is particularly colorful in autumn when
the ash, sycamore and cottonwood trees turn red, yellow and orange.
