Bonito Park, Robinson Mt.
and Medicine Valley, Arizona
Bonito Park, Robinson Mt. and Medicine Valley are on the Coconino
National Forest in northern Arizona. All three places are near Sunset
Crater volcano (Flagstaff and the San Francisco Peaks are also not
too far away). You simply will not find anywhere else in Arizona with
more wild sunflowers (Helianthus petiolaris).
A couple photos on
this page were actually taken in an odd sort of area southwest of
Bonito Park but they're close enough that I'm including them here.
