California's Sierra Nevadas including
Mono Lake and Yosemite National Park
The formations in Mono Lake are salt "pillars" called Tufa Towers.
Yosemite National Park is just west of Mono Lake so I'm including
a few photos of Half Dome and Vernal Falls on this page as well.
