Seneca Lake and Falls, Arizona
on the San Carlos Apache Reservation

Seneca Lake and nearby Seneca Falls are high on the south rim of the
Salt River Canyon, on the San Carlos Apache Reservation. Seneca Falls
plunges an amazing 250 feet over jagged, rocky terrain. Well, that's what
you can see if you show up after a good rain, anyway. During dry parts of
fhe year the falls can be reduced to a trickle or even disappear completely.
Since I did not show up when the falls had much water I focused more on
things surrounding the falls. However, I will definitely return during
monsoon season when Seneca Falls is truly spectacular.
