Puerco River, Northern Arizona
These photos were taken in autumn along the Puerco River in northern
Arizona. This section of river actually passes right through Petrified Forest
National Park, and these fall colors stand in stark contrast to the much
drier Painted Desert that exists in better-known parts of the park (for

also covered with Native American archaeological sites.
