Mogollon Rim I
Including Rim Lakes and Creeks
Among the many reservoirs atop the Mogollon Rim are Knoll Lake, Bear Canyon
Lake, Woods Canyon Lake and Willow Springs Lake, all of which are somewhere
around 7,500 feet in elevation. Some of these lakes have colorful aspen trees at their
shores, and deeper into the woods, away from the water and roads, hide some of the
largest maple groves I've found anywhere in Arizona. Of course, if you walk along the
edge of the Mogollon Rim you get a great view virtually every time you look south.
