Grand Falls on the Little
Colorado River, Arizona
Grand Falls (a.k.a. "Chocolate Falls") is on the Little Colorado River, which
flows through the Navajo Nation in northern Arizona. It's water comes and
goes depending on recent rainfall but if you show up at the right time the muddy
falls are quite spectacular. Actually, even if you show up during low flow you can
still get great photos by trekking to the bottom of the falls and moving in close.
