Gila River, Arizona
The Gila River, which flows fairly heavily in New Mexico
and eastern Arizona, pretty much runs out of water by the
time it reaches Kearny, Arizona (almost to Florence). Then every
last drop is diverted to farms or urban areas. By the time the
Gila River reaches Phoenix it's bone dry.
