Cave Creek, Arizona
These photos were taken along Cave Creek (the actual creek, which
extends north from the town by the same name). The fall colors were
captured in the Jewel of the Creek Preserve, and the other pictures were
taken in the nearby Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area.
For those
wishing to get farther into the wild, Cave Creek continues north beyond
the Spur Cross area, on to the Tonto National Forest and into a world
of wilderness, wildlife and ancient Native American archaeological sites.
