Canyon Lake, Arizona
Canyon Lake is one of four reservoirs along Arizona's Salt
River (all are upriver from Phoenix). The desert lake, which is
surrounded by saguaros, dramatic cliffs and lots of wildlife,
becomes particularly colorful at sunset, sunrise and twilight.
