Photographs of
ASH CREEK, ARIZONA
This section of Ash Creek is northeast of Cordes Junction.
If you're driving I-17 in the late fall, the riparian area stands out as a
strip of bright yellow meandering through the high desert. No trails exist
along the creek so you can wander peacefully downstream without
seeing anyone...except friendly horses who will follow you
around the entire day if you give them Butterfinger bars.
