These are wild Silver Puff Dandelions near the top of
Four Peaks. The red streak in the upper-right is a naturally
ocurring lens flair (glare from shooting directly into the sun).
I've never seen a lens flair that looked quite like this one.
All I can say is the photo looked like this when it was taken.
It may be a fluke, but it ain't fake!
